Jeanne Marie (Ninneman) Beliveau, 81, from Willmar, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025 at the St. Cloud CentraCare Hospital surrounded by her family.

Jeanne was born on March 11, 1944, in Storm Lake, Iowa. She was one of four children born to Marvin and Margaret Ninneman. Growing up, she lived in Storm Lake and Fonda, Iowa, as well as Benson, Minnesota.

On July 21, 1962, Jeanne married her beloved husband, James Beliveau, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Willmar, Minnesota. The couple had three children – Troy, Kelly and Rod.

Jeanne not only loved her own children, but she loved all children and worked as a kindergarten teacher's aid in the Paynesville School District from 1979 until 1983, which is when they moved to Willmar. She started working in the Willmar School District that same year. From 1983, until her retirement in 2005, Jeanne worked as a secretary and paraprofessional in that school system. She loved all the students she worked with and also all the many wonderful friends she made while working in the Willmar School District.

After retirement, Jeanne and Jim sold their home in Willmar and spent time traveling with their two beloved dogs, Buddy and Emma. They lived in Arizona, California, Florida, Texas and Austin, Minnesota before moving back to Willmar.

She was so special to so many of the people she worked with and was just the most loving person to everyone she met. Jeanne was known for her kind words, beautiful smile, caring attitude and comforting hugs.

Jeanne loved her family something fierce, including her five grandchildren – Therese, Chris, Liz, Ben and Brandon. She always wanted to make sure they were happy and cared for. She loved to make them her famous caramel rolls and her delicious caramels

Jeanne is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim, and her children, Kelly (Tom) Welle of Fargo and Rod Beliveau of Willmar.; her grandchildren, Therese (Bryan) Diamond, Chris Beliveau, Liz Welle, Ben (Katelyn) Welle and Brandon (Kaitlyn) Beliveau; great-grandchild, Wes Welle; siblings, Marlyn (Judy) Ninneman and Jim Ninneman; and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Margaret Ninneman; her son, Troy; her sister, Sharon Pederson; her in-laws, Fred and Hazel Beliveau; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Hartmann and brother-in-law, Lloyd Hartmann, and other family members.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson - Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar. www.hafh.org
