Jeanne Noel Petersen, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, in Middleville, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 24, 1945, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Jeanne was the daughter of William and Mary Ellen (Wagar) Rinehart.

Jeanne shared a blissful marriage of 32 years with her devoted husband, Dean Petersen. Her children Renee (Tim) Seeley, Douglas Jenkins, and Darrell Jenkins will dearly miss their loving mother. Her role as a grandmother was one of her greatest joys, as she was adored by her grandchildren Isabelle (Brett) Markosky, Anabeth, Amanda, Emeline, Calvin Seeley, Colten, and Shelby Jenkins. Jeanne's legacy of love continues to expand with the awaited arrival of her first great-grandchild.

She is survived by her siblings William (Diane) Rinehart, Ron (Margo) Rinehart, Jack Rinehart, and John (Terrie) Rinehart. Jeanne's life was enriched by the presence of many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends who became an integral part of her life's journey. Her twin sister, Joanne (Aubrey) Arndt, and her parents preceded her in death.

Jeanne's professional life was marked by over 30 years of dedicated service in pharmaceutical sales with Bergen Brunswig Drug Company. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident in every interaction and professional relationship she cultivated.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jeanne's true passion lay in her involvement with the Middleville Community Food Pantry, which she managed alongside her husband, Dean. Her contributions to the Middleville United Methodist Church as a longtime member, Women's ministry participant, Bible Study Leader, and Youth Group Leader reflected her deep faith and servant's heart. Recently, Jeanne became a valued member of the Peace Church community, where she continued to inspire those around her with her unwavering spirit.

Traveling with Dean, camping, and hosting bonfires for her family were some of Jeanne's favorite pastimes. Her home was always a welcoming haven, where she delighted in cooking for and hosting friends and family. Jeanne's ability to make people feel welcome was unparalleled, and her presence at any gathering was a source of joy and comfort.

Jeanne's family will receive friends on Monday, July 28, 2025 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Beeler-Gores Funeral Home in Middleville. Her celebration of life will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Peace Church in Middleville. Pastor Noah Kamper will officiate. Private burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
