Jeannie Sue Sills passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello, Mississippi. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Jeannie, age 68, was born March 11, 1956, in Natchez, Mississippi, to James and Nora Rea Thompson. She was a graduate of Copiah Lincoln Junior College. She worked for over forty years as a bank teller for Regions Bank and Deposit Guaranty Bank. She enjoyed watching western movies and reading western novels. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Silver Creek, Mississippi.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Nora Rea Thompson, two brothers; one sister, and her canine companion, Freckles.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Ricky Sills of Silver Creek.
