Jeffery Knight Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 9, 2025.
Jeffery Dean Knight, Sr., 47, of Shamrock, TX passed away July 5, 2025 at home in Lela, TX. Jeff was the only son and oldest of 4 children born to Mark and Tammy Knight on March 1, 1978. Jeff grew up doing whatever Dad was doing. He loved life, cars and family. He spent most of his life in Shamrock where nobody was a stranger. If he crossed paths with you – you knew him or you were about to. Jeff worked a multitude of jobs, most notably 30+ years with Osbaldo M. deLeon & El Sombrero. He will be remembered most for his goofy, outgoing personality, his willingness to help and his big heart. There wasn't one time as he walked away Jeff didn't say "See ya later, I love you."
Jeff was preceded in death by Grandfathers Arnie Knight, David Watts St. and Bill White, Grandmother Stella Watts, Aunt Tina Watts, Uncles Mark Watts and Dennis Satterfield and Brother-in-law John Diaz.
He is survived by Grandparents Joyce and Jim Clark and Nancy St. John, Parents Mark and Tammy Knight, Sons James and Brittany, Jeffery Jr. and Rachel, Sisters Mouse Diaz, Brandy Knight, Dawn and Wray Ryan, one Sister Boo Brenda Lerma, 6 nephews, 3 nieces, 1 great niece, as well as countless Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends who became family.
See Ya later, I love you!
