Jeffrey “Jeff” Scott Matukewicz, 48 years old, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on January 27th, 2025.
Jeff had a passion for woodworking. He owned a business making high quality custom wood furniture. He loved his work. He worked tirelessly to grow his business and provide beautiful products to his customers. He died doing what he loved.
Jeff was born in Independence, Kansas on September 14, 1976, to Joseph and Deborah Matukewicz. He was the second of two children and is survived by his brother Joseph D. Matukewicz, father Joseph L. Matukewicz, and grandmother Frances Brant. Jeff is also survived by his two children, son Max W. Matukewicz, daughter Avalyn E. Matukewicz, and their mother Michelle Matukewicz. Jeff’s children were the loves of his life and brought him great joy. His happiest times were when he was with his children. He often spoke about how proud he was of them and that they were his greatest accomplishments in his life.
Jeff is preceded in death by his mother Deborah Matukewicz, his grandparents Michael and Kathryn Matukewicz and Charles Brant.
There will be a private viewing for family members on Wednesday, February 5th, at Potts Chapel in Independence Kansas.
