Barbara Briggs Obituary
Born Jan. 31, 1958, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Donald A. and Frances G. Briggs. Barb was a 1976 graduate of Knoch High School and a 1980 graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa.
Barb was employed as an executive administrative assistant, beginning her career in Denver, Colo. and eventually returning to the Pittsburgh area, where she worked with various companies and organizations, completing her career with Cabot Methodist Church.
Barb is survived by two brothers, Scott (Susan) Briggs and Robert (Kathie) Briggs; her niece, Kristi (Ryan) Perry; and four nephews, Andrew (Dana) Briggs, Wesley (Brooke) Briggs, Rob (Jenn) Briggs and Nick (Kyilah Jones) Briggs. She is also survived by seven grandnieces and grandnephews and a number of cousins.
BRIGGS - All services for Barbara "Barb" L. Briggs, who died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
Donations may be made to the Butler Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053, in honor of Barb.

So sorry learning of Barb's passing fom this side of Heaven. Surely she is fast becoming one of God's great angels. Barb was the "point man" for her senior class project at Westminster. She was the very best, wonderful to work with. I still have the piggy bank she gave to me as a memento of that successful project.
My sympathy to Barb's loved ones and friends. Such a sweet gal.

I hope you enjoy heaven, trying out for the musicals and plays, and hosting all those cast parties. You were a tremendous friend, confidante, and support during all of my elementary and high school years. We miss you!
