Jeffrey Lynn Weix, beloved husband, father and Papi, went home to be with Jesus on August 17,

2025. He passed peacefully at home, having just spent time with his family and surrounded by

the love and care of his wife, Mary. Born on October 8, 1956 to Jerome and Hiroko Weix in

Tokyo, Japan, Jeff's life was a testament to his faith in Jesus Christ and his loyal dedication to

his friends and family.

Jeff graduated from Alamo Heights High school in 1974. He went on to receive his Associates

Degree in Nursing from San Antonio College and began his career as a dialysis nurse. Despite

going on to have a successful 20+ year career as an executive at Fresenius Medical Care, Jeff

never forgot his roots as a nurse. His career was marked by his compassion and care for each

dialysis patient that he encountered.

Jeff's greatest joy and fulfillment was found in his family. His unwavering support and time

spent with them highlighted the depth of his character. Married to his best friend of 44 years,

Mary, their life together was marked by laughter, adventure, and steadfast commitment. Jeff was a proud father of his three children, Elizabeth, John, and David. He was also a cherished Papi to his five grandchildren: Claire, Wesley, William, Sloane, and soon-to-be-born Baby Boy Weix.

Jeff was an incredible man who genuinely loved the people around him. He is marked by and

will be remembered for his love for life, witty sense of humor, genuine smile, generous heart,

and a willingness to always put the needs of others before his own. He will forever be

remembered and treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jeff also had many hobbies and activities that he enjoyed. He loved spending time on the golf

course, riding his bike, vacationing at the ocean with his family, fishing, and hunting for sea

glass. Jeff also loved his church and church family, and spent his retirement serving as a trustee,

organizing various outreach events, working on the church grounds, and meeting personal needs through the gift of his time.

Most importantly, Jeff loved His Lord, Jesus Christ. He lived out his faith with bold courage and

commitment. He led by example as he raised his children to live in faith and devotion to the

Lord. This dedication to his faith is reflected in his grandchildren who are now walking with the

Lord as well. Jeff leaves behind a godly legacy that will continue for generations to come.

A "Celebration of Life" Service will be held at 1pm on August 30, 2025 at Acton Evangelical

Free Church in Acton, Massachusetts. 54 Hosmer St, Acton, MA 01720. There will be a light

reception following the service!

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Joni and Friends and Tunnel to Towers

Foundation, two ministries that Jeff loved and supported.
