Jeffry Reeder Obituary

SIDNEY - Jeffry Lynn Reeder, 76, of Sidney, passed away at 8:05 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born February 16, 1949, in Fletcher to the late Gerald Emerson and Dorothy Veronica (Sansam) Reeder. He married Peggy (Priestap) Reeder October 19, 1983, in Corpus Christi, Texas and she survive.

Other survivors include three sons, Aaron Reeder, Issac and Ariel (daughter in law) Reeder, Elliott Reeder; granddaughter, Cecelia Ann Marie Reeder and sister, Helen Ganger. He was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Jeff worked as a welder and fabricator for over 30 years. He went for 2 years certification at the Ford Auto School in California. He enjoyed making metal sculptures and building furniture for his home. At the age of 12, Jeff started working on engines and repair to many vehicles of all kinds. He was a handyman and a "jack of all trades." Jeff was always helping other people and not for fame, glory or money. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict.

No services are to be held. Arrangements are in the care of the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation www.arborday.org. Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy, to be provided to the family, may be expressed through jamiesonandyannucci.com.
