Jennifer "Jenni" Ardelean, age 42, was taken from this world far too soon on Saturday, July 12, 2025 after only just recently being diagnosed with cancer. Visitation will be held at 1pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 3pm on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road in Swartz Creek. Jenni will be laid to rest at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Paws Rescue in Swartz Creek MI where she adopted her beloved fur baby Albert. For those wishing to write condolences, you may do so by visiting her obituary page which can be found at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
Jenni was born on August 12, 1982 in Flint, Michigan to Joseph Callender and Sandra (Mitchell) Callender. She graduated from Au Grus - Sims High School, class of 2000. She furthered her education at Baker College, specifically with early childhood development courses. Jenni married the love of her life, Kenneth Ardelean on Aug 14, 2019
With her bubbly energy and carefree ways, children always flocked around her. Jenni wasn't afraid to learn, she was frequently trying new things. With her adventurous spirit she certainly marched to the beat of her own drum. She loved visiting the casino, of which on several occasions she was the bus hostess for the trip. If she wasn't enjoying the comforts of home she and Ken were going on a road trip. Jenni loved all critters, but she adored cats. She had many house cats throughout the years as well as caring for the many outdoor cats she has named each and every one and they made sure to always come around for feeding time.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ken Ardelean; her father, Joseph "David" Callender; mother, Sandra Callender; children, Brenda and Corissa Ardelean; grandchildren, Avery, Parker, Brennan, Aliyah and Annabelle; grandfather, Joseph Callender; siblings, Kimberly Callender, Jacob (girlfriend Emily) Callender and Shane Atwell; parents-in-law, John and Bonnie Ardelean; brother-in-law, John Ardelean and sister-in-law, Shelia Clifford. Jenni is further survived by many other dear family members, friends, and her fur babies, Albert, Thanos and Azzy.
