Jennifer Lynn Bitel, 50, of Yale went to be with Jesus on July 16, 2025, surrounded by many family members.
She was born in Yale, Michigan on August 15, 1974, the daughter of Kathy (Thompson) Bitel and the late Harry Bitel.
Anyone that met Jennifer couldn't help but like her. She loved life and always thought of others first. She had a lifetime of medical trials, but she didn't let it get her down. She was the best daughter and sister anyone could ask for. Jennifer loved music, loved reading, loved to sing and enjoyed playing her keyboard. She loved all animals but had a special fondness for golden retrievers and loved nature as well. She loved Jesus and would sing and praise Him. She loved her family but also loved connecting with other people. Always so selfless and trying to uplift other people's spirits. She was always creative. Her cell phone gave her lots of entertainment at dialysis with audio books, music, playing Tetris and conversation. She loved playing scrabble at home.
Jennifer will forever be missed by her mother, Kathy; brother, Chad (Jessica); stepmother, Rose (Joe) Rumenapp; stepsister, Jeanne (Mike) Nichols; step nephew, Zechariah Varty as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her father Harry and grandparents.
The family honors the memory of Jennifer and invites you to visit and share memories Wednesday, July 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bethel Missionary Church 7975 Bricker Rd. Yale. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. Luncheon to follow.
