East Alton-Jennifer L. Brawley, 61, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at her home.
She was born July 26, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri. Jennifer formerly worked as canteen manager for the Wood River VFW. She also helped with Toys for Tots collections. A very generous person, she enjoyed donating her time. She loved reading, listening to music, fishing, cooking, and being with her family.
She married Chris Durbin Ar. 11, 2014 in Edwardsville. He survives in East Alton. Also surviving are her mother, Virginia June (Storms) Hensley of West Plains, MO; her son, Chalen (Britany) Campbell of Holiday, FL; sisters Wilma Faye (Gary Allen) Jones and Margaret Ann Brawley; brothers, Orville Jay Brawley, Grover Steven Brawley, and Hubert Dwayne Brawley; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Leo Brawley.
The family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date.
