In Loving Memory of Jennifer "Rainey" Dooley
January 18, 1963 – July 19, 2025
Jennifer "Rainey" Dooley, of Montgomery, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, in The Woodlands, Texas, at the age of 62.
Born on January 18, 1963, in Los Angeles, California, Rainey was a cherished mother, grandmother, aunt, godmother, sister, and friend. Music was one of her greatest joys, and her home was often filled with the sounds of the songs she loved. She was a master gardener whose love of nature, green thumb, generous heart, and nurturing spirit touched everyone around her. She recently shared her talents through her work at A&A Nursery and McCoy's.
Rainey was an amazing light in the lives of all who knew her-one of a kind, deeply genuine, and full of humor and warmth. She had a way of making people feel truly seen and loved. As a mother and grandmother, she was extraordinary-wise, nurturing, and endlessly devoted.
She is survived by her daughters: Jessica Dooley, Jill Almendarez and her husband Sam Almendarez, Shannon Dooley and her husband Chris Guy; and her goddaughter, Betty Bolds, and family. She is also survived by her sisters: Sally Shows, Debbi Barlow, Sandy Tillman, and Linda Warlick. Rainey leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Rhiannon Guel, Jewel Dooley, Lily Dooley, Oriana Almendarez, Olivia Guy, Ethan Guy, and Austin Almendarez.
Rainey was preceded in death by her beloved son, Dustin Dooley, and her parents, Una and Henry Warner, whom she now joins in eternal rest.
A celebration of Rainey's life will be held on August 9th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Sandbranch Cemetery, 6200 FM 2504, Poteet, TX 78065. All are welcome to attend and honor her incredible life.
Her light, laughter, and love will live on in all who had the privilege to know her.
