Jennifer Lynne Spivey Tomblin Hoskins, passed away on July 3, 2025, in Smiths Station, Alabama. Born on August 6, 1990, in Columbus, Georgia, Jennifer's life was marked by her radiant spirit and unwavering love for her family, friends, and community.
Jennifer's legacy is cherished by her adoring family, including her paternal grandmother, Edna Martin; her mother, Sharon J. Spivey, stepfather, Randy Freeman; her paternal and maternal parents, Richard Martin (Susan), Regina Anderson (Curt); her beloved sons, Raiden Michael Tomblin and Anthony Liam Hoskins; her sister, Stephanie Renee Raines (Andrew); the fathers to her sons, Kevin Michael Tomblin and Jeremy Logan Hoskins; her nephews, Brett and Grant Raines; her niece, Tayleigh Raines; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her bonus children, Payton and Hoover Hoskins. Each of them will forever hold memories of Jennifer's loving presence in their hearts.
A proud graduate of Smiths Station High School, Jennifer's commitment to her community was evident through her active membership at New Beginnings Fellowship Church. She carried her passion for people into her professional life with a successful career in retail sales, specializing in collegiate Auburn University gifts. Her colleagues and customers alike were often touched by her genuine care and bright personality.
Jennifer's artistic talents were a beacon of joy to all who knew her. A gifted craftswoman, she brought beauty into the world. Her voice, a tender and powerful instrument, found its home in gospel music as part of "The Spivey Sisters," where she shared her faith through song. Her love for her children was her most profound work of art, and she instilled in them the values of kindness and joy that she embodied.
An ardent fan of the University of Alabama, Jennifer's enthusiasm on game days was infectious. She could often be seen adorned in her favorite color, purple, cheering with a sweet smile that could light up any room. Her love for meeting new people and making connections was a testament to her open heart and loving nature.
Jennifer's visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 8, from 6 PM to 8 PM EST. Her funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, at 11 AM EST at Colonial Funeral Home, with Pastor David Kennedy and Brother Brad McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. These gatherings will not only be a time to mourn her passing but also to celebrate the profound impact she had on the lives of so many.
In her life, Jennifer embodied love in its purest form. Her warmth and kindness were as steadfast as they were gentle. She leaves behind a legacy of love, a testament to a life well-lived and a person dearly missed.
