Jennifer Denise Mann was the youngest of three daughters of Constance
Dolores Garcia and Richard Leon Mann. She was born in Queens, NY on May 5, 1969.
Jennifer and her sister Pamela were often dressed alike and asked, "are you twins?"
Jennifer ran after her older sisters but developed her own interests. She loved sports,
cooking, puppies and kittens, and the arts. She was an athletic and creative person who
enjoyed photography, film, theatre, music and writing. Jen graduated from Tisch School
of the Arts, of New York University, with a major in Television and Film, and moved out
to Los Angeles years ago to take advantage of the sunshine, the film industry and to be
closer to the west coast Mann family.
From a young age, Jen played tennis. Her tennis talent was noted when she was
just a little girl, and she continued to play for her entire life. Organizing amateur tennis
matches and playing tennis were an important part of her life in New York and in Los
Angeles. Active in the theatre and film industries earlier in life, Jennifer recently
completed a novel, "The Left Behind Girls," and was in the process of getting it
published.
She is survived by her mother, Constance (Garcia) Mann, her sisters Celeste,
Pamela and Morgan, and her brother Matthew; cousins Coco, Ricky, Sim, and
Cassandra, as well as other cousins, aunts, and uncles from the Garcia, White and
Mann families, now scattered across the country.
