Jerome Anthony Zeller, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at his home. He was born on February 14, 1953, to Alois and Ruth (Mitchell) Zeller in Black River Falls, WI. Jerome grew up in Black River Falls. He later met Debra Peterson through her sister's boyfriend at the time, and they began dating, eventually marrying on October 13, 1973.

Jerome loved music and played guitar. He also had a passion for fast cars and raced them. He passed on his love of music and cars to his three children. He enjoyed when the family would get together and play cards or board games, or just watch a good movie. Jerome was a great mechanic and parts man. He worked at Northern Auto Supply, O'Reileys, and was a supervisor at IMMA (Fort McCoy). He worked at Fort McCoy during Operation Hawk-95. He was still employed at Auto Value in Holmen, WI.

He is survived by his wife, Deb; daughter, Clover (Scott) Hartung; son, Connor (Tera) Zeller; daughter-in-law, Alexia Van Hoof Zeller; grandchildren, Trevor A. Zeller and Ari Osgood; sister, Caroline (Don) Klink; brothers, Carlton and Francis (Donna) Zeller; sister-in-law, Carol (Frank) Mullen; brother-in-law, Terry Bennett; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alois and Ruth Zeller; father and mother-in-law, Forest and June (Iverson) Peterson; son, Trevor Jerome Zeller; sister, Roselyn Zeller; brother, Robert Zeller; sisters-in-law, Zona Bennett, Bernadine Griffen, Barbra Sherwood Peterson, Patricia Zeller, and Marilyn Zeller; brother-in-law, Roger Griffen, Forest Jr. Peterson, and Steven Hoff.

Always with us. You were a great dad and husband and friend.

Funeral services for Jerome will be on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Torgerson's Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Pastor David Webber will officiate. Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Immediately following the service, an inurnment will take place at the Riverside Cemetery.

The Torgerson's Funeral Home is assisting the family with final arrangements, 715-284-4321.
