MARIETTA – Jerry Lee Arthurs, Sr., 83, of Marietta, OH, passed away on June 29, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Born July 14, 1941, in Canton, OH, he was the son of the late John and Ethel (Masters) Arthurs. He was a Navy veteran during the Cuban uprise and retired from Elkem Metals in Marietta after 30 years of service. He loved playing cards, hunting and fishing, big trucks, and spending time on his farm.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 18 years, Nancy Arthurs; two daughters, Kayla and Ruth Arthurs; three sons, Steven McClellan, Donnie Osbourne, and Jerry Lee Arthurs Jr.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Linda Kay Cooper; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Steve Fry and Larry Johnson.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Arthurs.
Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 6-8PM at the White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH. A military service will be held at 6PM.
