Unfortunately, I met my half brother only once, along with his wife Vera, when I drove to Iowa several years ago to meet both Jerry and Rita. We also spoke a few times on the telephone, and it was such a pleasure to know the little bit about him that he shared with me. He's in my prayers as he makes his transition from this earth, while being greeted with love and happiness by friends and loved ones. My husband, Daniel, and I shout out a cheer for Jerry, and wish him well in his journeys!
