Jerry Donald Polk, 86, of Monroe, NC passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. He was born in Union County, NC on February 20, 1939, son to the late Carl Polk and Lillian Rushing Polk. He is also preceded in death by three brothers, Heath Polk, James Ellis Polk, Ray Polk, and two sisters, Betty Drake and Linda Baucom.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jerry is survived by his wife Patricia “Patsy” Stegall Polk, son, Jerry Shawn Polk, daughter, Shannon Kelley, three grandchildren, Jacob Kelley, Jadah Kelley and Joleigh Kelley, great grandchild Paisley Kelley, two brothers, Boyd Polk, Larry Polk, and two sisters, Jeanette Baucom, Louise Byrum.
Jerry adored his loving wife of almost 47 years, and he cherished his family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Atrium Health Hospice & Palliative Care Union, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd. Monroe, NC 28110.
