Jerry Robinson Obituary

HUBERT - Jerry Russell Robinson, 85, of Hubert, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at Carteret Healthcare. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Wakefield officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Mr. Robinson was born January 23,1939 in Troy, OH to the late Roy Russell and Vivian Rife Robinson.
He was a truck driver for many years before becoming a warehouse supervisor for a horticultural company shipping supplies all over the world. He faithfully served his country in the US Navy. He was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and loved to spend his time serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and being with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Richard Robinson.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Rogers Robinson of the home; daughter, Lynn Sanbeg (David) of Hubert; sons, Scott Robinson (Cathy) of Cincinnati, OH and Jon Robinson (Roseann) of Anna, OH; grandchildren, Desiree Green (David), Deanna Cruz (Jose), Nicole Ribar (Spencer), Samantha Shaw (Zachary), Josh Robinson (Kelsey), Jennifer Hunnington (Lucas), and Jacob Robinson; nine great grandchildren; and siblings, Judy Dean of Columbia, SC and Steve Robinson (Jean) of Topeka, KS.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
