Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lee Wallace Jr., 35, of Henderson, will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Bar None Cowboy Church with Jason Taylor and Otis Amy officiating. Interment will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, August 11, at the funeral home. Jerry Lee passed from the troubles of this life on August 6, 2025, in Austin. He was born March 30, 1990, in Henderson to the late Jerry Lee Wallace Sr. and Kim K. (Huntsucker) Wallace and lived most all of his life in Henderson. He graduated from Henderson High School in 2008 where he was a great athlete with uncommon strength. Jerry Lee would follow in his dad's footsteps and enter the wrecker and trucking business. He was an excellent wrecker driver and one of the best heavy-duty operators. He worked for several different companies, most recently Viking Trucking. Anyone who knows Jerry Lee knows that there are too many stories than can be shared in one sitting, and they are endearing to who he was: a friend, a fixer, a protector. He had common sense intelligence, and he loved big and was loyal to a fault. If you were his friend, you always had someone to stand beside you no matter the situation. He had this innate desire to be everyone's hero. Under that tough exterior was a huge heart. Jerry Lee was a loving and devoted father, and his daughter was everything to him. He was truly a good daddy to his little girl. He had also previously attended Bar None Cowboy Church where he was saved and baptized. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece Camille Grace Wallace, grandparents Peggy and Billy Wallace, great-uncle and aunts Sammy and Billie Baker, Bobbie Baker and Linnie Baker, Aunt Kelly Huntsucker and his unborn son Kason Cole. Survivors include his daughter, Karstyn Jane "Boogie" Wallace of Henderson; brother, Kolton Wallace and wife Ashley and their children William, Richard, and Holland Wallace; great-aunt whom Jerry Lee called Mom, Judy Baker of Henderson; grandparents, Doug and Marilyn Huntsucker of Panama City, Florida; great-aunt, Billie Jane Hammett and husband Ken of Harleton; uncles, Terry Wallace and Billy Wallace; special cousins, Sandi Jacaman and husband Levi and their children, Amanda Johnson and husband Josh and their children, Frankie Mele and wife Kim and their children, "Uncle" Rocky Baker and wife Sarah and their family, and Ricky Baker and his family; Godfather, Trey Hacker; close, long-time friend, Kathy Deason; countless Wallace and Baker cousins and family; and countless friends whom Jerry Lee considered family, of which there were many. Pallbearers will be Kevin Jarrell, Austin Wright, Garrett Combs, Clint Case, Luke Chandler, Brent Jordan, and Roymond Witcher. Honorary pallbearers are all the friends Jerry Lee carried and that helped carry him. In lieu of flowers, Jerry Lee would want his little girl to be taken care of. Memorial donations may be made to the Karstyn Wallace account at Henderson Federal Savings Bank, 130 N Marshall St., Henderson, TX 75652. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.crawfordacrim.com.
