It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jewel Dean Reed, a beloved mother and devoted homemaker. Born on October 12, 1938, in Pleasanton, Texas, Jewel lived her life with an unwavering commitment to her family, dedicating her days to being the best wife and caretaker of her home.
Jewel's remarkable culinary skills were matched only by her fierce devotion to her children: Daylon Reed, Jr. (Mary), Michael Reed (Jennifer), and Debra Reed as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love was the foundation upon which their lives were built, and her nurturing spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in her warmth.
Jewel was not only a homemaker but also a beacon of love and resilience, embodying grace and kindness in everything she did. Her legacy is one of dedication to family, compassion for others, and the creation of a loving home filled with cherished memories.
Jewel was preceded in death by: Husband Daylon Reed Sr., Father Marshall Henson, and mother Crystal Henson.
