Ms. Jewel Ann Spivey, age 72, of Celina, TN, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Upton Hay Funeral Home with John Vaughn officiating and interment to follow in the McBride Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service on Sunday.

Jewel was born on Sunday, December 14, 1952, to the late Forrest and Elsie (McBride) Langford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Peggy McGuire.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Berniece Spivey; sons, Kelly Spivey (Amanda), Kyle Spivey (Jacqueline), and Mason Spivey (Kaylee);grandchildren, Elizabeth Browning (Jon Wayne); Jeffery Spivey (Aliyah); great-grandchildren, Wesley Wayne, and two more on the way; brothers, Jackie Langford (Tina), Timmy Langford (Candace); sister, Vivian Watson; special friend, Michael Hight; special niece, Tara Langford Scott; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn her passing.
