Born February 15, 1930, in Marion, NC to Jesse Bryan and Tellie Henson Ayers. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two brothers, Norman and Lloyd, her only daughter, Sherree Lane; and her husband, James Ed.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Dean; her sister, Gail; sons, Eddie (and Arlene), Jody (and Nancy), and Pete (and Kim); nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, eight nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals on Thursday August 14, with visitation at 1pm and service at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made in her honor to Samaritan's Purse - Disaster Relief fund.
"It was a blessing in our home with our mother who rocked the cradle."
