With deep sadness, the family of Jimmy Earl Edwards announces his passing at the age of 57 on July 6, 2025, at his home in Gracemont, Oklahoma.
Born on September 1, 1967, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, Jimmy was the son of Carl Edwards Jr. and Melba Edwards. A proud farmer and cattle rancher, Jimmy was known for his strong work ethic, strength, and deep love for the land. He lived a quiet, steady life, offering his love and support in ways that mattered most."
He is survived by his parents, Carl Edwards Jr. and Melba Edwards; his sisters, Debra Edwards and Janet Hulsey and her husband, Tom Hulsey; and his nieces and nephews and their children who meant the world to him: Logan Edwards, Katelyn Stimpson, Savannah Hulsey, Sidney Hulsey, Jay Stimpson, Aria Edwards, Aiden Edwards and Lucius Edwards.
Outside of his work, Jimmy found joy in the simple things-hunting, fishing, and being out in nature. These were the times he felt most at peace.
Jimmy will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who knew him.
