It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of "Jim" Mack Reece, who departed this life unexpectedly on June 20, 2025, at the age of 75. Jim was born on August 19, 1949, in Shirley, Arkansas, to Henry Reece and Opal Marie Reece (Howard).
Jim was a dedicated husband of 53 years to his beloved wife, Alene Reece. They married on April 19, 1968.
He was a devoted father to Billy Brant Reece and Jimmy Don Reece. He was a very proud Grandfather to four grandchildren, Lakena Reece of Clinton, AR, Chelsey Hutchinson of Fayetteville, AR, Brittney Reece of Greenbrier, AR, and Logan Reece of Tilden, TX.
Jim was a graduate of Clinton High School. He was a hard-working man of many talents. He worked for Thriftway as a Produce Manager for over 20 years, was Justice of the Peace for Van Buren County, and served as an Ordained Deacon at Culpepper Community Church in Clinton since January 2023, where he showcased his commitment to serving others.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Reece, his loving wife, Alene Reece, brother, Larry Don Reece, and one great-grandchild, all of Clinton
He is survived by his mother, Opal Marie Reece of Clinton, his sister, Barbara Feagley of Clinton, and his two brothers, Johnny Reece and wife Joyce Reece of Clinton, Billy Wayne Reece and wife Rachel Reece of Groves Texas, his two sons, Billy Brant Reece and wife Sherry Reece of Clinton, and Jimmy Don Reece and wife Kimmy Marie Reece of Groves, Texas.
His life was marked by his unwavering faith in God and a deep devotion to his family. He will be dearly missed by all the lives he touched while here on earth.
A memorial service will be held on June 26, 2025, at Culpepper Community Church in Clinton, AR, at 10:00 am, with Brother Danny Patterson officiating.
