Jo Ann Estep (nee: Nerini) 73, of Janesville, Wisconsin, Passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025. peacefully at her home holding the hand of her husband of almost 55 years and her true love and life partner, surrounded by her loving family. Jo Ann was born on May 5, 1952, in Highland Park, IL to the union of Floyd and Marie (nee: Morehead) Nerini. Jo Ann was the fifth of six children.
Jo Ann met Harold at Hal's Drive Inn in Highland Park while she was with her sisters and he was with his brother John. Jo Ann married Harold Estep on September 13, 1970.
Together they had four children. Tamara, Jodi Ann, Danielle, and Harold Jr. She is survived by her husband Harold, Tamara Decker (Matt Manecke), Dani (Joe) Stivarius, and Harold Jr. (Buddy) Estep. And her nine Grand Children Link, Devin, and Peyton Decker. Joey and Jordan Stivarius. Hayden, Riley, Hailey and Bentley Estep. Brother Nick (Chele) Nerini, Sisters Gloria (Paul) Davis, Donna (John) Molina, And Barb Porter, along with many nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.
She is preceded in death by her Parents Floyd and Marie (Morehead) Nerini, her daughter Jodi Ann Estep, her sister Maria Coletta and brother-in-law Jerry Porter.
Over the years Jo Ann found success in many things, including business ventures with Harold, musical endeavors as lead singer and guitarist in many bands, and making her own way climbing the corporate ladder at JC Penny from a part time employee to Store Manager. Jo Ann found a way to excel in anything she put her mind to. However, her proudest accomplishment that brought her the greatest joy was her family. She was a loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. We will be holding a Celebration of Life later this Summer for this extraordinary Woman who touched so many lives.
