Jo Ann Kossky, a beloved homemaker and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, in Morgantown, West Virginia, at the age of 81. Born on February 17, 1944, in Wheeling, West Virginia, she lived a life dedicated to her family and community.
Throughout her years, Jo Ann found comfort and faith as a devoted member of the Christian Apostolic Church in Tappan, Ohio, where she was an esteemed part of the congregation and a proud graduate of Bellaire High School's Class of 1962.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kossky; her brother, Robbie Williams; and her parents, Robert and Margaret Williams. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Jo Ann is survived by her loving children: Mindy Karkowski and her husband Joe, Bryan Kossky, and Arianne Kossky. She was also a proud grandmother to Dustin Karkowski and his wife Allison, and a great-grandmother to five wonderful great-grandchildren: Hunter, Dakotah, Gunnar, Jayden, and Payten. Additionally, she leaves behind her sister-in-law, Carla Berze Wagner, along with numerous friends who will miss her dearly.
A private family service will be held at a later date to honor Jo Ann's memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rosenbaum Family House in Morgantown, West Virginia, in her name by going to TMCFunding.com.
Jo Ann will be remembered fondly by all who knew her for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family. May her soul rest in peace.
