Gloria Jean Radinovich passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, in
Valparaiso, Indiana, just two days after celebrating her 81st birthday. Born on February 16, 1945, in Maryland, Gloria grew up with a quick mind, a sharp sense of humor, and a down to earth spirit that stayed with her throughout her life.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burdette, who preceded her in death. Gloria carried their values of kindness and resilience with her, and those who knew her often saw those qualities shine through in the way she treated others.
Gloria spent many years working in retail, where she became known for her straightforward approach, her ability to handle just about anything, and her habit of making people laugh even on difficult days. Coworkers and customers alike appreciated her honesty, her patience, and the way she could turn an ordinary interaction into something memorable.
Outside of work, Gloria had two great passions: cheering on the Washington Redskins and tending to her flower garden. Football Sundays were a fixture in her life, and she never wavered in her loyalty to her team. Her garden was another source of joy-she loved watching things grow, and the care she put into her flowers reflected the care she put into the people around her.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Milan Radanovich, her partner in life and someone who stood by her through every chapter. She also leaves behind two sisters in law, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember her humor, her stories, and her steady presence at family gatherings.
To her family, Gloria was someone you could count on-whether you needed advice, a laugh, or simply someone to sit with. Her stories will continue to be shared, and her memory will live on in the people who loved her.
Gloria lived a full and genuine life, finding joy in simple things and giving that same joy to others. She will be deeply missed.
Cremation will take place. Graceland Cemetery, 1505 E. Morthland Drive (219) 462-3511 is caring for the arrangements.
