She was born February 7, 1955 in Beloit, the daughter of John and Ruby Louise Stewart Hunter Sr. A longtime area resident, she served as a dispatcher for Pawnee County Sheriff's office, Larned Police Department and then later was an MHDD Tech at Larned State Hospital.
She was of the Christian faith, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her dog Bella.
Survivors include: three sons, Wesley Jason Selsor, Larned, Darin Alan Selsor, Topeka, Brandon Scott Selsor, Larned; two sisters, Saundra Phillips, Larned, Patricia Hunter, Amarillo, Texas; one brother, John (Gina) Hunter Jr., Larned; one grandchild, Ian Selsor, Overland Park; nieces, Caci (Jamie) Kirby, Shelby Hunter, Brenda Ehm and Heather Dizmang and nephews, Michael Ehm, David Contrerez, Dan Contrerez, Vaughn Dizmang and Brian Erb.
She was preceded in death by; a sister, Judith Smith a brother Jim Hunter and a nephew Jeremy Hunter.
Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Damon Bradley presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary with family present from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Pawnee County Humane Society or Larned Police Department, in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550. Personal condolences may be left at www.beckwithmortuary.com.
