Stephen Hartman Memoriam
May 1, 1940 - August 30, 2020
Dr. Stephen Wheeler Hartman left us five years ago, on August 30, 2020. A Professor of Finance and Management at The New York Institute of Technology for 43 years, he was the beloved husband of Dolores Hall Burns Hartman and doting father of Dr. Stephanie R. Hartman Kaiser (wife of Adam Kaiser) and Dr. Alan G. Hartman. He was also the loving grandfather of Alexander, Benjamin and Gavin Kaiser. He was buried at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY on 9/3/2020 after a Funeral Mass at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Commack, NY. Dr. Stephen W. Hartman's family remembers him with great love. His life of authenticity, intellectual pursuit, and thoughtfulness, as well as his caring, loving, and pleasant ways remain a beautiful part of his meaningful legacy. His absence remains deeply felt, and he is heavily mourned. May he rest in peace. LK 1:78-79.
