JoAnne Larson Obituary

JoAnne Lee Larson, 77, formerly of Superior and currently of Shell Lake, died Friday August 1, 2025, at Shell Lake Health Care Center. JoAnne was born in Superior on February 23, 1948, the daughter of Donald and Nancy (Engebretsen) Larson. JoAnne had worked for 35 years as a page for the Superior Public Library. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin on Lake St. Croix in Solon Springs, watching DVD movies, loved babies, kittens, and puppies. In her younger years she enjoyed hand stitching and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents. JoAnne is survived by her sisters, Janet Ericksen of Hayward, Barb Larson of Cable, WI; nephew, Troy Ericksen of Westcliffe, CO; niece Lisa (Chad) Lewton of Thornton, CO; and great nephew, Cole Lewton of Thornton, CO. A private family graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
