Joe Gonzalez, 78, of Burleson, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in Burleson. He was born on March 4, 1947, in Helena, Arkansas, to Francisco and Oralia Gonzalez.
Joe was a very religious individual who was of the Pentecostal faith. He was always involved with church activities if his health allowed him to be. A devout Christian, he enjoyed spreading the word of God and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved his pet dog Mojo.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Francisco Gonzalez, Jr. and Efram Gonzalez; granddaughters Heather Ann Diaz and Cheyanne Auralee Rose Garner; his son-in-law Johnny Diaz and by his daughter Nora Gonzalez.
He is survived by his daughters Rose Diaz, and Kari Garner and husband David; grandchildren Erich Diaz, Shaeli Horn and husband Piercon, Allison Whitehead, Zachery Garcia and wife Inez, Sean Morales, Joseph Garner, and Elijah Garner; great-grandchildren Annie Diaz, Hazel Diaz, Aiden Whitehead, and Aurora Whitehead; sisters Lydia Leal and husband Abelino, Tabita Cisneros and husband Raul, and Elia Monrial; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm. Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Funeral services will be held at 11am. Friday, July 11, 2025, at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury with burial following at Tin Top Cemetery in Tin Top (Parker County), Texas.
