Joelyn Crosby Obituary

Joelyn Crosby of Frostproof passed away Monday, May 12, 2025 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.
She was born July 8, 1937 in Colquitt, Georgia to the late Lamar and Pearcie Williams; she moved to Frostproof from Georgia in 1941. Joelyn was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Frostproof.
Joelyn was preceded in death by her husband, David Crosby in October of 2013; sisters, Jacklyn Zayles, Carolyn Lambeth, Gloria Donnel, Joyce Swallows, Darlene Michels; brothers, Jerry Williams and Melvin Williams. She is survived by her daughters, Rita Crosby of Frostproof, Leta Clements of Soperton, Georgia, Nita Deal of Frostproof, Ginger Spence of Frostproof, Tina Scali of Frostproof; sisters, Syble Charboneau of Bartow, Peggy Clem of Frostproof; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Frostproof.
