John J. Bartlett

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of John J. Bartlett, age 54, of N. Weymouth.

John was born and raised in Quincy where he graduated in 1988. John is known to many as a talented and dependable handyman. Self-employed for the majority of his working life with his own handyman service. He built a reputation for honesty, hard work, and craftsmanship. Whether it was a leaky faucet or sprucing up a room, John approached every job with pride.

John is the son of his late parents, Nancy Webb and Charles Bartlett. Loving father of Jason and Justin Bartlett of Weymouth and Christopher Moreira of Randolph, brother of Cheryl Warren and her husband Greg of Milton, and Charlie Bartlett of Boston. John is also the uncle of Joseph, Paige, and Emily Warren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for John on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9am Saturday Morning for a Celebration of Life prior to a funeral mass which will take place at St. Francis Xavier Church in S. Weymouth at 10am. Burial will follow in the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
