John Crabtree Obituary

John Thomas Crabtree, age 60 of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at his residence. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on May 13, 1965, to the late Ben Marshall and Evelyn Ann (Barnes) Crabtree. John was currently employed at Tepro, where he had worked for the last thirty-seven years. An automobile enthusiast, he enjoyed going to Talladega NASCAR races, riding his Harley, and watching car restoration shows on television. He was always tinkering or working on something. His kind and caring nature, one that was always willing to give a lending hand, will be missed by all who knew and loved him. John is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Tina Crabtree; children, Dylan Tobitt, and Courtney Tobitt; sister, Marsha Rose; nieces, Shaleigh and Starleigh; nephew, Shyler; aunt, Doris Barnes; and cousin, Glenda Barnes.
