John Norman Donnaud, Jr.
1949-2025
John Norman Donnaud, Jr. (Johnny) passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the age of 76 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native and a longtime resident of Luling, LA.
Johnny was an Army Vietnam Veteran where he earned a bronze star.
He worked as a Marine Surveyor at Thionville for many years.
Johnny was the beloved husband of the late Linda Womble Donnaud, married for 52 years. Loving father to Jason (Jessica) Donnaud and Ashley (Eric) Latiolais. "Pappy" to his precious grandchildren, Jude Donnaud, Jensen Donnaud, Bryce Latiolais, Jace Latiolais, and Kamryn Latiolais.
He is also preceded in death by his parents, John Donnaud, Sr. and Elva Donnaud and sister, Jennifer Donnaud.
He is survived by his two brothers, Gerald (Karen) Donnaud and Mitchell (Crystal) Donnaud; seven sisters, Cheryl (Gary) McDermott, Brenda (Eddie) Leclere, Yvette Donnaud, Judy (Jess) Tourné, Suzanne (David) Lirette, Suzette (Todd Davenport) McGuire, and Tina (Gordon) Brou; and seven sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws and their spouses. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, their children and friends.
We are extremely thankful to his family and many caretakers, especially Mona G. Hill and Adline Mott, for their endless support, warmth and compassion.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) to honor his memory.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Memorial Service at L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.
