John Joseph Fabijanic, 85, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at The Health Care Resort in Colorado Springs, CO.

A resident of Divide for many years, he moved from New Jersey to Colorado in 2005. He graduated in 1957 from St Ann's Academy (later known as Archbishop Molloy High School) in Queens, NY, University of Missouri in 1964 with a BS in Chemistry, and received his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Hackensack, NJ. For two decades, he worked at Hoffman-LaRoche's US Headquarters in Nutley, NJ, before joining his wife, Sherry, in her interior design firm, The Creative Heart.

A lifelong sports fan, he enjoyed watching all kinds of team sports, and especially loved ice hockey and the Colorado Avalanche.

Son of the late John and Susan Fabijanic, he is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sherry Logan Fabijanic, his son Jeffrey Fabijanic (Kelly) of Boston, son Christopher Fabijanic (Helaine) of Glenwood Springs, daughter Laura Fabijanic (Richard) of Nashville, son Matthew Fabijanic (Nadin) of Houston, daughter Beth Fabijanic (Graham) of Washington, DC, his grandchildren Jeze, Susan, Scarlett, Emilia, Evan, Claire, Lotus, Sakura, Sadie and Johana, and his sister Maryann Gauci of Boynton Beach.

The family would like to thank John's friends who have supported him. Your kindness, presence, and unwavering support have meant the world to him and to all of us.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, June 24 at Our Lady of the Woods in Woodland Park.
