John Bellows Hain passed away on Monday, June 30 at the young age of 48. He was born April 11, 1977 to Lauren and Carolyn Hain and raised in Byron, Mn. Along with his mother, John is survived by his wife, Tatum (nee Pynakker), his children Connor, Kasten, Finn, Foster, and two bonus children, Sawyer and Breauna. He is also survived by his brother Thomas (Brandie) and nephews Evan, Maxwell, Benjamin and Zachary, along with many other family members and friends. John was proceeded in death by his father, Lauren and father-in-law, Henry.

John attended Morehead State University studying software engineering and was most recently working at Lemans corporation as the Warehouse Technology Systems Development Manager.

In 2017, John joined the Dousman Masonic Lodge alongside his father-in-law. He honed in on his sociable and charitable personality by volunteering on behalf of the lodge as well as his children’s schools. John stressed the importance of education and charity to his children continuously.

John always had an adventure in mind. Whether it was fishing, hunting, camping or trailblazing or rock climbing at Philmont Scout Ranch, NM, John lived an active youth. In 1995, he proudly accomplished the feat of becoming an Eagle Scout.

Additionally, he enjoyed black smithing in his backyard as well as chain mailing. He cherished campfires and story-time with his family. John also loved to cook and create delicious masterpieces. He became a connoisseur of bread making and continued his passion of cooking by teaching his children the art of noodle making.

Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 2 PM on July 14, 2025 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) with services to follow.

Memorials may be made In John’s name to St. Bruno Parish School, Dousman Wi. or Dousman Masonic Lodge number 315.

John is onto his next adventure and will be deeply missed by his loved ones.
