John was my S.C.O.R.E. advisor starting in 2003 and eventually we became friends. My father worked on Madison Ave in advertising from 1955-1965 and I was able to have John meet my dad. I enjoyed stories from Vietnam as I was an enlisted Navy guy from 1979-1989. I loved the stories John told me about paying CIA operatives during his tour of duty. John gave me good advice about starting my computer repair business. We kept in touch up until December 2024. John was a wonderful person, very smart and gave of himself to the community. Fair winds and following seas John.
