John Michael Obituary

John Vincent "Hollywood" Michael, age 66, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 7:56 p.m. in the Vandalia Health Davis Medical Center ED from an extended illness.
John was born Friday, May 29, 1959 in Elkins, WV to Ralph Omar and Carmelina Isabella "Terrano" Michael, who both preceded him in death. Also preceding him death was one daughter, Heather Dawn Michael and one sister, Mary Frances Michael.
Left to cherish John's memory is his caregiver, Kandace Dawn Michael, his step-son, Robert Ryan Teter and Issaha Rayne Fox, Kiera Elizabeth Rosier, Christopher Wayne Rosier, Cayson Myles Teter and Asher Dean Teter, all who he considered his grandchildren.
John was a graduate of Elkins High School and a member of the St. Brendan Catholic Church.
Many will remember him through his music and the many bands he had or was in over the years, Ezekial Harper, Freeway, Next World, Strange Agent, Triple Shot, The D.C. Riggs Band and Mother Mayhem just to name a few. John was also an EMT and ran with the Randolph County Emergency Squad for many years.
His wishes for cremation and to be placed with his daughter were honored. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
