John Kenneth Olson, age 58, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away in Sioux Falls, SD.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Steve Biswell will officiate.
Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel prior to services, starting at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be at East Norden Cemetery in Hamlin County.
John was born April 25, 1967 to Kenneth and Louise Olson in Simi Valley, CA. In 1974 the family moved to South Dakota and resided in Bryant. John attended school at Hamlin High School.
As an adult, John lived in Las Vegas, NV and later moved back to South Dakota settling in Watertown for many years. John worked at various jobs and enjoyed his time at McDonalds and Access Ministry. John also worked as a Roadie for various rock bands when living in Las Vegas.
John had a love for music and singing. As a young child you could find John singing Elvis songs to anyone he could get to listen.
John is survived by his daughter Corina (Terry) McClain, and Roslynn and Kasyn, siblings; Mike (Denise) Olson, Tammy (Courtney) Larson, Eric Olson, Susan (Patrick) LeClair and Charlie (Denise) Kraebel, nieces and nephews; Kenny Olson, Manny Olson, Jazmine Olson, Lisa Robles, Rocco Olson, Erica Olson, Jordan LeClair and Kristen LeClair, and aunts; Charmane Salonen and Sunta Marnell.
John was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Louise Olson and nephew Drew Larson.
