It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of John Joseph Palmiotto III on June 30, 2025. He was 37 years old. John was born on November 09, 1987 in Sleepy Hollow, New York.

A loving husband, father, son and brother, John is survived by his wife, Nina, and his beautiful 2-year old daughter Cameron whom he loved so very much. They were both truly the joys of his life.

He is survived by his parents John & Sharon Palmiotto and his sister Mary Kate, who will miss him forever. He also leaves behind his maternal Gramma Barbara Bigelow, in-laws Stephen and Kay Moncrief, brother-in-law Thomas, Great Aunt Theresa and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal Grandparents John and Rosemary Palmiotto, maternal Grandfather Robert Schick, step-Grandfather Robert Bigelow, Aunt Joanne Palmiotto and Great Uncle Bill Hanrahan. Also, his most beloved childhood dog Dallas, who we know was waiting to greet him.

John graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in 2006 where he played basketball and was a standout 4-year starter and 2-year captain of the baseball team. He graduated from Ithaca College in 2010 with a degree in Sports Management*Marketing.

He worked in advertising for 14 years, most recently being employed at Apex Exchange (Publicis Media) as Vice President, National Video Investment.

Johnny had a real passion and love of sports. The Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and New York Rangers were his true passions, like his Dad.

He leaves behind many close and caring friends. He was well liked by so many and was an outgoing, kind and loving person and caring soul. He has donated his organs to help those in need and it brings us peace knowing he is helping others.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to John, Sharon and family. We may never understand why tragedy strikes, especially to such a kind family who raised an exceptional man which JP was so instead allow yourselves to be wrapped in the love and support of all of those around you who love you and your boy. We will all cherish our memories of our boys growing up alittle more during this time. Sending love & prayers, Kelli
