John Quick Obituary

He was a US Army Veteran from 1967-1971 and served in Vietnam. He worked in Kingston doing various jobs throughout his life.
John loved cooking, campiing and having a beer with his family and friends. He loved his puppies Kayla and Buddy.
John was a life member of the Bloomington Fire Company.
He is survived by a son Alvin Quick (Amanda) of Kingston, a son John M Quick of Indiana, a stepson Allen Hughes (April) of Port Ewen. A daughter Heidi Quick died previously. Also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Services and burial will be held at the Ulster County Veterans Cemetery at New Paltz Rural, 81 Plains Road, New Paltz, 2 PM Tuesday July 22, 2025. Rev. Arlene Dawber will officiate. Military Honors will also be bestowed.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bloomington Fire Company, PO Box 111, Bloomington, NY 12411.
