JOHN “ASHLEY” ROBERTS
HEADLAND… John “Ashley” Roberts, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at a Dothan hospital. He was 80.
A private family graveside will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Joel Lassiter officiating. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1550 Parramore Road, Dothan, Alabama 36303; or to First Baptist Church Abbeville, 100 Columbia Road, Abbeville, Alabama 36310 or www.fbcabbeville.net.
Mr. Roberts was born in Abbeville, Alabama to the late John Lowell Roberts and Ella Louise Buckner Roberts. He was a 1962 graduate of Abbeville High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was self-employed, where he sold agriculture products.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Benny Lowell Roberts.
Leaving to cherish his memories is his wife, Faye White Roberts; his sister-in-law, Gloria Seagers (Joe); and several nieces and nephews.
