John Truett Seabolt, age 88 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025. Mr. Seabolt was born on August 24, 1936, in Hall County, Georgia, to the late Arthur and Irene Kenimer Seabolt. He was a self-employed chicken and cattle farmer and a veteran of the Army National Guard. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Seabolt. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ovie Seabolt; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Bonita Seabolt; daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Charles Rider; grandchildren, Ryan Allison (Alex); great-grandchildren, Zoie Allison and Xaden Allison; sisters-in-law, Christine Seabolt, Barbara "Bob" Hubbard, and Barbara Hubbard; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roger and Linda Hubbard. The family would like to give a special thank you to Jake Myers for his help and also to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Dr. Joe Vernon and the Rev. Nathan Nix will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shoal Creek Goodwill Circle – 4659 Hwy 115 W, Cleveland, GA 30528.
