John Robert Ulrich, 75, of Brussels, WI passed away on July 29, 2025.

An avid golfer, fisherman, cross country skier and pet lover, he enjoyed getting together with friends and family in Door County, the Wisconsin Northwoods and the Chicagoland area. He was especially fond of spending time at the Shadow Lake/Turner property in Florence, WI. He was also quite a sports car enthusiast and enjoyed being part of several Mini Cooper rallies.

John was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 16, 1949, to Jack and Janice Ulrich. He graduated from Glenbrook North High School and went on to a career in the printing industry.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Debby (McCarron): sisters Jill Payne (John), Jacqui Hart, Janine Neff (Rick), brother Jerry (Heidi) and sisters in law: Nancy Richards (Bob), Judy Randle and Kathy Seifert (Achim), as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jimmy. A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Mick and Squirty suggested that donations be made to HAY DUDE CRITTER RESCUE, a non-profit animal rescue in Boerne, Texas where Mick spent his first few months. haydudeequine.org

I´m sorry for your loss. I met John many times. Always a great guy he got me out of a jam many years ago. I´ll never forget him. Way too early for his passing, love and prayers. GEORGE BROWN.
