Johnny Flynn Obituary

Johnny T. Flynn, age 87, of Chase City passed away June 5, 2025. Johnny retired from VDOT and afterwards owned a lawn care business, he was also a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by a son, Shannon Flynn and a niece, Buffy Orr Gill. Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Janet Flynn; brother-in-law, Kenny Orr (Cathy); sister-in-law, Lois White (Curtis); and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 10, 2025, at Wood Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
