Long time Wewoka resident Johnny Robinson age 57, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was born May 5, 1967 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Nolen Robinson and Eula Mae (Lena) Robinson.
He graduated from Holdenville Highschool. He also attended Wes Watkins welding school. He worked as a correctional officer for Core Civic. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, rock and roll music, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Nolen Robinson.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Eula Robinson of the home; sisters, Lois Ann Milon of Tulsa, OK, Sonya Larimer and husband Ray of Holdenville, OK, Jennifer Robinson of Sasakwa, OK, Beth Ann Webster and husband Rodney of Calvin, OK; brothers, Nolen Robinson Jr. and wife Lenora of Coweta, OK, Craig Robinson and wife Cindy of Seminole, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 20, 2025 and 9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Wake service will be held from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Rev. Lewis Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Robinson Family Cemetery in Holdenville, OK.
Pallbearers: Garland Shed, Jeremy Iker, Jay Hill, Dennis Minard, Shawn Lefthand, and Terry Reed.
Honorary pallbearers: Mike Brooking, Ronnie Minard, John Tallent, Bill Evans, Stanley Johnson, and Johnny Weaver.
Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
