It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Johnny Mack Vincent, who departed this life on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Born on January 6, 1976, a crisp winter Tuesday in Savannah, Georgia, Johnny's life was one of warmth, humor, and immeasurable love. He resided in Eden, Georgia, where he was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many.
Johnny spent his professional life as a dedicated construction worker where his hard work and leadership were deeply valued. Outside of work, Johnny was an avid sports fan, always cheering for his cherished Georgia Bulldogs, FSU and Atlanta Falcons. His youthful days were filled with the joy of playing football, basketball, and baseball. A true music enthusiast, Johnny had a particular passion for hard rock, which he shared with those around him.
Johnny was the epitome of a gentleman, known for his respectfulness, politeness, and genuine kindness. His love for the outdoors and vibrant personality made him the life of the party, ever the funniest and most welcoming presence in any room. Those who knew Johnny will remember his ease in making friends and his unwavering protectiveness and devotion to his family.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Vincent; his children: Blakely Vincent, Ricky Ekern, Chidaya Cooper (Justin), Shelby Ekern, Ryton Ekern, Peyton Vincent, Calvin Adams-Peterson, Alexis Vincent, and Bodhi Vincent; and granddaughter, Addison Gibbs. He is also survived by his mother, Dianne Thompson; siblings, Freddy Vincent (Kristan), Bobby Vincent, Crystal Alence, Theresa Boatright, David Boatright, and Danny Vincent (Michelle); and is fondly remembered by numerous other family members.
He joins in eternal rest his father, Fred Mack Vincent, and his grandson, Cameron Cooper, who preceded him in passing.
A celebration of Johnny's life will take place at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel, located in Garden City, Georgia, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Visitation will begin from Noon until 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Johnny Mack Vincent will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by those he touched with his compassionate heart and joyous spirit. May his soul rest in peace.
