Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de José Jesús González-Bugarín, querido padre, compañero de vida, hijo, hermano y amigo dedicado, quien dejó este mundo el 4 de julio de 2025 a la edad de 57 años.
Nacido el 20 de diciembre de 1967 en Jalisco, México, José fue un orgulloso miembro de la comunidad mexicoamericana, abrazando su herencia e inculcando una fuerte identidad cultural en su hija, Janeth González. A lo largo de su vida, José fue un hombre multifacético. Dedicó su vida laboral a diversos roles, incluyendo oficial de policía, obrero de la construcción, personal de mantenimiento y trabajador agrícola. Su dedicación al trabajo duro solo era comparable a su amor por la naturaleza, donde disfrutaba de la caza, el senderismo y la jardinería. José se enorgullecía de plantar frutas y verduras, cuidarlas con esmero y compartir la abundancia con quienes lo rodeaban. También era conocido por su espíritu vibrante y su amor por el baile, alegrando las reuniones con su contagioso entusiasmo.
Además de su querida hija, Janeth, a José le sobreviven su querida compañera de toda la vida, Arcelia Leyva; su madre, Carmen Bugarín Montoya; sus hermanos, Emilia, Rosa Elivra, Gonzalo y Elena González Bugarín; sus hijos mayores, Edgar Cabrera y Rebeca García; y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas. Le precedieron en la muerte su padre, José Refugio González Martínez, y sus hermanos, Guillermo y Miguel Ángel González Bugarín.
Su familia los invita a celebrar su vida y los recuerdos que compartieron. El velatorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Adduci-Zimny, ubicada en 14522 S. Western Avenue, Posen, el sábado 12 de julio de 2025 a las 14:00 h, seguido del servicio fúnebre a las 18:00 h. La familia desea honrar su vida con una emotiva reunión, en la que reflexionaremos sobre la alegría que trajo a quienes lo rodearon. El último recuerdo de José será privado.
José Jesús González-Bugarín será profundamente extrañado, pero su espíritu permanecerá vivo en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron y lo amaron.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of José Jesus Gonzalez-Bugarin, a beloved father, life partner, son, brother and hardworking friend, who left this world on July 4, 2025, at the age of 57.
Born on December 20, 1967, in Jalisco, Mexico, José a proud member of the Mexican American community, embracing his heritage and instilling a strong cultural identity in his daughter, Janeth Gonzalez. Throughout his life, José was a man of many trades. He dedicated his working years to various roles, including a police officer, construction worker, handyman, and field worker. His commitment to hard work was matched only by his love for the great outdoors, where he enjoyed hunting, hiking, and gardening. José took great pride in planting fruits and vegetables, nurturing them with care, and sharing the bounty with those around him. He was also known for his vibrant spirit and love for dancing, bringing joy to gatherings with his infectious enthusiasm.
In addition to his cherished daughter, Janeth, José is survived by his loving lifelong partner, Arcelia Leyva; his mother, Carmen Bugarin Montoya; his siblings, Emilia, Rosa Elivra, Gonzalo and Elena Gonzalez Bugarin; his bonus children, Edgar Cabrera and Rebeca Garcia; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, José Refugio Gonzalez Martinez and siblings, Guillermo and Miguel Angel Gonzalez Bugarin.
His family invites you to join them in celebrating his life and the memories they shared. Visitation will take place at Adduci-Zimny Funeral Home, 14522 S. Western Avenue in Posen on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM. The family wishes to honor his life through a heartfelt gathering, reflecting on the joy he brought to those around him. José's final disposition will be private.
José Jesus Gonzalez-Bugarin will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain alive in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
